Authorities sought the public’s help Thursday in locating an at-risk 15-year-old girl who went missing near the Commerce area.
Jewel Kim was last seen around 1:15 a.m. Thursday in the 6300 block of Zindell Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Kim was described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall Asian girl weighing around 130 pounds, with light brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was seen wearing a black hooded sweater, blue-green striped pajama shorts, pink-fluffy slippers, two silver necklaces with a heart pendant and a ring.

Her possible destination could be Koreatown, officials said.
Kim’s family is concerned for her well-being, as she suffers from an unspecified mental disorder, according to the department.
