Loved ones search for 75-year-old last seen in Whittier

Detectives and family members are asking for the community’s help in searching for Glen William Hunter, 75, who went missing on Jan. 3, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

LASD said Hunter is an at-risk missing person, and his family is concerned for his wellbeing.

According to the missing person report, Hunter was last seen at 1 a.m. on Friday on the 10900 block of Cermenita Road in Whittier.

Details are limited and the department did not immediately say who last contacted Hunter, if he was seen traveling on foot, or if he has a possible destination.

Officials described Hunter as a white man who is 5 feet and 10 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.

LASD encourages anyone with information about Hunter or his whereabouts to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
