Gas prices drop as spring break travel begins

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Despite an uptick in gasoline demand, prices at the pump have fallen this week, offering some relief to travelers gearing up for spring break.

The average price for a gallon of gas in California is now $3.74, a decrease of three cents from last week and 39 cents from the same time last year.

Nationally, the average price is $3.07 per gallon, also down three cents from last week and 32 cents from a year ago…
