UPDATE: Long Beach Police Nab Suspect in Animal Abuse Case, Alexander Cueva Charged with Felony

A case of alleged animal abuse that startled Long Beach residents last week has seen notable developments. Detectives from the Long Beach Police Department have apprehended 28-year-old Alexander Cueva in connection with the incident. The LBPD disclosed that Cueva was arrested on Tuesday evening and faces charges of felony intentional cruelty to an animal, according to their official statement. In addition to the charges, Cueva was also discovered to have an outstanding no-bail warrant.
