Antelope Valley Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug and Firearm Bust by LA County Sheriff’s Department

Over the weekend, an unsuspecting routine traffic stop in Antelope Valley transformed into a felony bust when law enforcement discovered a collection of illegal substances and items. The reveal came as a sheriff’s department in Los Angeles County shared details of finding items ranging from several controlled substances to firearms and cash during a vehicle search.

According to KTLA, officers pulled over a vehicle for undisclosed reasons on Saturday. Their search unearthed a firearm, $2,000 in cash, and a variety of drugs including methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, oxycodone, Xanax, and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). The authorities did not offer up details on what prompted the vehicle stop to begin with, nor did they identify the suspect who was quickly taken into custody.
