Argument leads to man being stabbed in Long Beach

LONG BEACH – A man was in the hospital recovering from stab wounds following an altercation with another man in Long Beach, police said Wednesday.

Long Beach Police Department officers were called to a hospital at 11:54 p.m. Monday regarding a man who walked in with a non-life-threatening stab wound to the lower body. When police investigated how the victim was stabbed, officers learned he was in the area of Sixth Street and Pine Avenue when he became involved in an altercation another man and the suspect stabbed the victim, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
