A 21-year-old man has been arrested for reckless driving and evading police after leading a dangerous high-speed chase through Irvine on May 4.
Authorities say an officer spotted the driver speeding through town and when police attempted a traffic stop, the driver took off, prompting officers to end the pursuit out of safety concerns.
The suspect allegedly ditched his car at Irvine Valley College and ran off, but campus police soon found it and contacted Irvine PD.
