Authorities in Westminster, California, seized over $8.4 million worth of illegal cannabis and 643 pounds of illicit psilocybin mushrooms from an unlicensed delivery service earlier this month. The operation led to the arrest of 49-year-old Kung Chau, who was charged with possession for sale of a controlled substance and possession for sale of marijuana. Chau was booked into the Orange County Jail on May 2.
The California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) partnered with the Westminster Police Department to carry out the operation.
