2nd person dies from crash where speeding driver slammed into Metro train, Long Beach police say

Police say a second person has died in connection with a crash between a car and a Metro train in Long Beach last month.

The crash happened shortly before 11:55 p.m. on May 23 near the intersection of 12th Street and Long Beach Boulevard, according to Long Beach police.

According to the LBPD, a 21-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Infiniti sedan southbound in the right lane of Long Beach Boulevard at a high speed with no headlights on.
