Homegoing Services Set for Bishop Norman Hutchins

Bishop Norman Hutchins passed away peacefully at his home in Carson, on June 5, at the age of 62. A singer, songwriter, and pastor, Hutchins was an eight-time Dove Award nominee and multiple Grammy Award nominee who was known for signature gospel songs like “Jesus, I Love You” and “God’s Got a Blessing (With My Name on It),” which become gospel music staples.

His homegoing service is set for Friday, June 20, at 11 a.m., at Love and Unity Christian Fellowship COGIC, 1840 S. Wilmington Ave., in Compton. Bishop Ronald Hill is the pastor and Lady Osie Hill is the co-pastor.
