Guests traveling in the area near Disneyland Resort last night may have been forced to take alternate routes, as multiple roads Anaheim were blocked by protesters and police.

Anaheim Roads Blocked by Protesters Near Disneyland

Several guests have shared videos and photos taken last night, June 20, that show several sections of Anaheim roads located near Disneyland Resort blocked by protesters and police, causing some significant traffic delays. The roads in question were S Harbor Boulevard and W Katella Avenue. Katella Ave runs east to west across the southern half of Disneyland Resort, close to Disney California Adventure, while Harbor Blvd runs north to south on the eastern side.

According to some videos and photos shared by local news anchor Austin Castro on X, the roads were closed at approximately 9 p.m. Pacific Time. The closures were due to a group of anti-ICE protesters, who were seen walking in front of traffic and waving flags on both streets. Shortly after the initial reports, videos were shared of a large police presence in the area. Police officers were seen directing traffic, and a few social media posts also reported sightings of a police helicopter in the skies.
