8 nabbed in retail theft sting at Camarillo outlets

A retail theft sting at the Camarillo Premium Outlets on June 14 led to the arrest or citation of eight, including four from Ventura County, authorities said.

Additionally, authorities recovered nearly $6,000 of stolen property, burglary tools and a pair of brass knuckles, according to a Ventura County Sheriff’s Office news release. The operation took place in several stores at 740 Ventura Blvd. between 1-10 p.m.

The people were arrested or cited on a slew of charges varying from misdemeanor to felony counts, including child endangerment, shoplifting and grand theft, sheriff’s officials said…
