The mother of 15-year-old Carlos Ramirez has a message for the strangers who rushed to her son’s side as he lay injured on the ground earlier this month: Thank you.
Ramirez had been sitting on a bench, waiting to take a bus home on the afternoon of June 11, when an unpredictable chain-reaction crash put him in harm’s way.
