A large group of people ransacked a store during a street takeover in Long Beach early Monday morning.
Preliminary information indicates that the takeover was first reported around 1 a.m. near Orange Avenue and Harding Street.
Video from the scene shows one car doing several donuts as the crowd grew. By the time police arrived on scene, the crowd had already begun dispersing and one of the vehicles doing burnouts was seen leaving the area.
While the street takeover was happening, a group of people shattered the glass storefront to J & G Markets, located at the Corner of Orange and Harding, and began looting the store, according to initial reports…
