A Stevenson Ranch resident was one of two people killed in a violent head-on collision on Highway 126 Friday evening that also left several others seriously injured.

The crash occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 11, when a white Subaru travelling west reportedly veered into oncoming traffic and slammed into a blue Chevy Tahoe in the eastbound lanes near the Los Angeles County line east of Piru, according to Moorpark California Highway Patrol Officer Ryan Ayers.
