A concerned viewer reached out to KTLA on Tuesday morning to report that a man in a Tesla flashed what may have been a fake badge at him in an attempt to scare him after the man tried to cut him off on the freeway.
The viewer, only identified as Mr. X, told KTLA the interaction took place along the 5 Freeway in Santa Ana on Tuesday morning around 6:45 a.m. as he was heading to work.
“As I was driving to work, there was a major accident near the 4th Street exit on the 5 North, and there was a traffic jam” Mr. X said. “Out of nowhere, a black Tesla Model Y suddenly wanted to change lanes in front of me and tried to cut me off. As I was not able to let him pass, he went behind me.”
