A ride at Knott’s Berry Farm malfunctioned Saturday afternoon, leaving guests briefly stranded just months after a similar incident prompted emergency rescues and a state investigation.
The latest breakdown occurred on the same attraction that left riders suspended in midair for more than two hours last November. In that earlier incident, two people were taken to the hospital as a precaution, though no serious injuries were reported.
On Saturday, the ride stopped mid-cycle for about five minutes.
In a statement, Knott’s Berry Farm said, “The safety of our guests is our top priority. Today, the ride did not complete a full cycle. As a safety precaution, the ride was stopped and received a full safety inspection before reopening shortly after.”…
