Body of woman swept away by river over Memorial Day weekend located

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — The body of a 26-year-old woman who was swept away by a river in Sequoia National Park over the Memorial Day weekend has been recovered.

Jomarie Calasanz from La Puente, California, was discovered on July 24th by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Swiftwater Dive Rescue Team in coordination with the National Park Service.
