A Downey homeowner was shaken up Friday after a group of burglaries broke into his house, making away with some $100,000 in cash.
The burglar, wearing masks and dark clothing, ransacked the home on Newville Avenue as they broke through the home’s backyard sliding glass door.
They managed to go through the home thoroughly and found a large sum of cash inside the homeowner’s safe as well as jewelry, purses and watches. The resident estimates he had about $100,000 inside the safe…
