It doesn’t seem an obvious connection at first: a link between California, an Irish family and perhaps the most famous fruit of the last decade or so, the avocado, but as is often the case, things are not always what they seem in the home of the movie business.
Last year, California harvested about 350,000,000 pounds of the soft, buttery fruit, which is known for its health benefits, and they supply the vast majority of avocados to the Golden State.
