The two people who were killed in a high-speed head-on crash in Santa Ana on Monday were drivers of their respective vehicles, and one of them was behind the wheel of the speeding BMW that caused the collision, police said.
The crash occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on Main Street near Warner Avenue, where southbound traffic spotted a speeding sedan headed north in their lanes of travel.
