An investigation is underway after a person fell out of a vehicle on the 5 Freeway overnight and was struck and killed by other vehicles passing by, officials say.
Around 10 p.m. Saturday, California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports that a person fell out of a car and had been struck by multiple vehicles in the southbound freeway lanes just north of Tustin Ranch Road.
Officers and paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene…
