Four three weeks, four dumped Labradoodles roamed the streets in Compton, California. They had been abandoned as if their lives were of no importance. Four young dogs were left to fend for themselves through the blistering heat and the chilly nights. None of them had any experience on the streets finding food. All they knew was to wait for their person. They were so hungry.
Residents in the area were concerned about the dogs. They often spotted the dogs together. Sometimes they would hide under a car, sometimes in the middle of the street. Dogs don’t understand abandonment. They only understand loyalty.
Some neighbors were kind enough to feed them. Other residents in the area threatened to poison them. The dogs didn’t know who was to be their friend or their foe. They had not been around long enough to know how cruel people could be to each other or to dogs…
