Southland Gas Prices Continue Slight Upswing

LOS ANGELES – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Monday for the third time in four days, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $4.482.

The average price has increased 1.6 cents over the past four days, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It rose two-tenths of a cent Friday and 1.1 cents Saturday and was unchanged Sunday.

The average price is 1.3 cents more than one week ago but 1.3 cents less than one month ago and 7.8 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.011 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022…
