LYNWOOD, Calif., Aug. 21 (KNN) – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a homicide that occurred outside a liquor store in the city of Lynwood. Deputies and medical personnel responded to reports of a shooting in the 12100 block of Long Beach Boulevard just before midnight on Wednesday.
When they arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from possibly more than one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It remains unclear whether he was shot inside or just outside of a Mercedes. Key News Network video shows bullet holes and shattered glass on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Authorities closed off the area to conduct their investigation. As of now, there is no confirmed description of a suspect, but initial reports suggest the shooter may be a Hispanic male who fled in a black vehicle…
