Man’s death in Anaheim home prompts homicide investigation

An investigation is underway after a man found with severe injuries was pronounced dead inside an Anaheim home Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to the residence on La Palma Avenue near North East Street around 2 p.m., where they discovered the unidentified victim’s body, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Matt Sutter confirmed to KTLA.

The victim, believed to be about 40 years old, was initially found by a man who knew him and went to do a welfare check.

It was unclear how the man died, but he was found with “severe trauma,” Sutter told the Orange County Register. No suspects have been arrested…
