HUNTINGTON BEACH — Huntington Beach is facing growing questions over its decision to install high-tech surveillance cameras in Oak View, a majority-Latino neighborhood with a history of tension between residents and city leaders.
Two contracts approved in April paved the way for 10 cameras to be placed at main entrances, streets, and gathering areas across the half-square-mile community.
