Workers rally against ‘billionaire takeover’ on Labor Day

Thousands of residents gathered Monday for the 46th Annual Labor Day Parade, Picnic and Rally in Wilmington, an event hosted by the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition.

The day began with parade assembly at 8 a.m. at Broad and E streets. The procession starts at 10 a.m., traveling along E Street to Avalon Boulevard before concluding at Banning Park on M Street.
