Police are searching for a man wanted for alleged animal cruelty in South Gate.
Surveillance video captured the suspect striking the two dogs that he was walking near Abbott Road and Dorothy Avenue.
“We are actively investigating this incident and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual,” police said.
