On May 10, 2025, officers responded to reports from multiple victims on the 2700 block of W. Orangethorpe Avenue. The victims reported being held at gunpoint and having high-end jewelry stolen while walking to their vehicle. The suspects fled the scene at high speed before police arrived, leaving victims shaken but unharmed.

Investigation Details

Detectives from the Fullerton Police Department determined that the robbery was not random. The suspects had followed the victims across multiple cities before committing the crime, suggesting premeditation and careful planning.

In cooperation with the ATF Orange County Violent Crimes Task Force, Fullerton detectives executed multiple search warrants on Sept. 10, 2025. The searches resulted in the arrests of three suspects:

  • Donald Jones, 21, of Los Angeles
  • George Barragan, 20, of Whittier
  • Gavin Stafford, 19, of Compton

Authorities recovered stolen items and other evidence linked to the May robbery during the searches.
