A suspect driver was arrested after leading California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed chase through Orange and Los Angeles counties Wednesday night.
The male suspect was in a Lincoln MKZ sedan and was initially wanted for driving the wrong way as the chase began out of Fullerton in Orange County before heading into L.A. County. The driver hit speeds of over 100 miles per hour at times, weaving dangerously between other vehicles.
The driver hit the 91 and 5 Freeways before transitioning onto the 10 and 405 Freeways as CHP officers trailed closely behind.
He exited near Wilshire and Sepulveda Boulevards and drove on surface streets for a short time before eventually stopping at a dirt lot near Macarthur and Gorham Avenues…
