A stabbing incident that occurred in Long Beach is currently under investigation, the Long Beach Police Department reports. The altercation, which left a male juvenile injured, took place on the 2100 block of Santa Fe Avenue, according to information released by the Long Beach Police Department. The event unfolded on September 17th, around 5:39 p.m., and involved an altercation between the victim and another male juvenile, which quickly escalated, leading to the stabbing.
Following the attack, the suspect reportedly fled on foot, leaving the victim with a minor injury that was later tended to at a local medical facility, after the victim’s parents transported him from the scene of the crime to receive medical care. It’s reported that officers received the stabbing report after being dispatched to the Public Safety Building at 400 W Broadway, where they encountered the victim and his parent.
