Long Beach Man Charged with Murder and Attempted Murder Following Fatal Stabbing Among Roommates

A somber neighborhood in Long Beach is reeling after a violent incident left one man dead and another injured. At approximately 10:38 a.m. last Saturday, Long Beach police responded to a stabbing report on the 1300 block of Temple Avenue, where two men were discovered with upper body stab wounds, as stated in a news release from the Long Beach Police Department.

Local authorities have identified 34-year-old Alejandro Iniestra, a resident of Long Beach, as the suspect arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder, according to the same news release. Held on a $2 million bail, Iniestra and the victims shared the residence where the crime took place, though the detailed reasons behind the stabbings remain undisclosed at this time.
