Tragedy has struck Disneyland after a 60-year-old guest died after riding the popular Haunted Mansion, the one that’s been temporarily redecorated and rethemed around The Nightmare Before Christmas. Entertainment Weekly confirmed details of the event that had been circulating online.
Sources say the woman was transported to a local hospital following the incident on Monday, October 6.
The Woman was Found Unresponsive
According to Matt Sutter of the Anaheim Police Department, the 60-year-old woman was found unresponsive when police arrived on the scene. After having finished the Haunted Mansion ride, Disneyland security personnel administered CPR until paramedics arrived.
She was rushed to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. Authorities are still investigating what caused her death and will determine it at a later date. There are also no first-hand accounts on what occurred during the ride to have caused her death. Disneyland has not released a statement about the incident…
