A tragic incident unfolded in Santa Fe Springs on Monday, as a construction worker was fatally trapped underneath a street sweeper at a site near Carmenita Road and Florence Avenue; authorities responded to the scene following a distress call regarding a man stuck under a vehicle at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to CBS Los Angeles.
Upon arrival, the fire personnel, unfortunately, confirmed the worker’s entrapment and subsequently pronounced him deceased at the scene.
