LONG BEACH – A man was arrested on a rooftop Saturday after leading police on a pursuit that began in Lakewood and ended in Long Beach.
The pursuit began in nearby Lakewood at approximately 2:11 a.m. Saturday after California Highway Patrol officers attempted to stop an allegedly stolen brown Kia Soul, but the driver did not stop, according to CHP Officer Erik Larson.
The chase continued through Artesia and Long Beach and briefly on the Artesia (91) Freeway before the suspect stopped at 56th Street in Long Beach at a nearby residence, where he abandoned the Kia and ran away, Larson said…
