Long Beach Police Arrest Suspected Stabber, Addressing Crime Amidst Homelessness Concerns

Long Beach has witnessed yet another violent incident as officers were called to the scene of a stabbing in the early hours on the 100 block of West 1st Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department. In a report published by LBPD, it was noted that the stabbing occurred on Oct. 23, 2025, at around 1:05 a.m., where they found a male adult with a non-life-threatening wound to his upper body.

Evidence of the attack continued to unfold as the victim received prompt medical attention from Long Beach Fire personnel, swiftly taking him to a local hospital for treatment; meanwhile, the suspect, who had initially vanished from the scene, was not at large for long.
