A California woman survived a freak accident after a plane crashed landed on a soccer field and hit her while she was walking her dog.

A family member of the victim, Tiffany Harrison, told ABC7 KABC Eyewitness News that she didn’t hear the two-seater aircraft approaching or crashing onto the soccer field in Long Beach on Tuesday, Oct. 21, because she is deaf.

“It’s almost like an unbelievable story,” Harrison’s sister, Brittany McFall, told the outlet. “When we got the phone call that she got hit by an airplane, we couldn’t even believe it because it’s something that doesn’t happen.”…
