Cleanup underway in Seal Beach after high surf causes flooding near pier

The city of Seal Beach is cleaning up after “King Tide” conditions caused flooding overnight.

Video obtained by Eyewitness News shows mud covering a portion of the parking lot near the Seal Beach Pier with water crawling right up to the edge of several beachfront homes.

A high surf advisory issued by the National Weather Service will be in effect until 3 a.m. Saturday for Los Angeles and Ventura County beaches. A coastal flood advisory will be in effect until Friday afternoon…
