A grieving family in Bellflower is pleading for justice after 43-year-old Robert Bishop was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash last month. The incident was captured on surveillance cameras and is now under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Video footage from October 12 shows a car making a left turn at the intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Eucalyptus Avenue, crossing directly into the path of Bishop’s oncoming motorcycle. The impact threw Bishop to the ground, where he was seen struggling before succumbing to his injuries. The driver of the car briefly stopped but then fled the scene without offering aid, authorities said.
