Surfer Rescues Teen After Near-Fatal SUP Collision in SoCal

A couple months back, a 13-year-old boy nearly died at Doheny State Beach in Orange County, CA. But thanks to the quick action of a surfer, the boy survived.

River Glennon was bodyboarding when he was struck by a stand-up paddleboard. The impact was bad. River had suffered a serious head injury; blood was pouring into the lineup; and he was going in and out of consciousness, bobbing in the water.
