A roughly 60-foot pine tree uprooted and fell onto a home in La Habra Heights Friday morning as heavy rain and saturated soil continued to create hazardous conditions across Southern California, officials said.
The call came in around 7:32 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. When firefighters arrived, they found the large tree lying across the home and crushing sections of fencing on the property.
