7 teens hospitalized after rollover crash in Fullerton; teen driver tested for DUI

Seven teenagers were hospitalized while officers gave a teen driver a DUI test after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Fullerton on Saturday night, authorities said.

The crash happened around 11:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Elm Avenue, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Officers arrived to find a single pickup truck that had overturned with multiple minors inside.

Seven occupants — all described as juvenile teenagers — were taken to area hospitals with injuries considered minor, police said. The driver, an adult teenager, was tested for driving under the influence, but additional information about him was not immediately available.

Footage from the scene shows several teens lying on the ground as firefighters and paramedics treated them around the overturned truck. All seven patients could be seen wearing neck braces as they were loaded onto gurneys and taken to ambulances.
