On the evening of November 23, 2025, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of S. Gilbert Street and W. Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton, California. Police responded to a report of a collision between a white Toyota Prius and an adult male pedestrian. The man was pushing a wheelchair while crossing in a marked crosswalk. Emergency personnel took him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Prius stayed at the scene and spoke with police. Initial reports indicate the vehicle was turning westbound onto W. Orangethorpe Avenue at the time of the incident.
