DOWNEY Multiple Vehicles Kill Pedestrian

1. A pedestrian was struck and killed by multiple vehicles, prompting a large street closure Monday night
2. Fire paramedics along with police and CHP received numerous 911 calls regarding the collision
3. Arriving, they located one pedestrian down in southbound lanes of Lakewood Blvd at the WB I-105 Freeway on ramp
4. Paramedics declared the pedestrian deceased on scene
5. Per fire radio traffic, there are multiple vehicles involved. There appears to be two cars on scene at this time, though unclear if any additional are involved
6. Downey Police have cordoned off all lanes of Lakewood Blvd between the I-105 WB and Gardendale Street until further notice
