Fullerton Police Officers responded to the area of S. Gilbert Street and W. Orangethorpe Avenue on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at approximately 6:43 PM, regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
An adult male pedestrian was found injured in the roadway and was taken to a local hospital by Fullerton Fire Department personnel. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as a white Toyota Prius, remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Preliminary reports indicate that the Prius was traveling southbound on S. Gilbert Street and was making a westbound turn onto W. Orangethorpe Avenue when it struck the pedestrian.
