An Orange County man on probation for a violent assault is facing new felony charges after allegedly killing a pregnant dog by binding it to his SUV and driving forward until the animal’s neck snapped, prosecutors announced Wednesday.

Eric Lyn Holliday, 58, of Buena Park, is charged with one felony count of animal cruelty and one felony count of possessing a hard drug with two or more prior convictions, according to the O.C.
