A man with a prior DUI was convicted again after a Santa Ana crash that killed his girlfriend

Enrique A. Morales Murillo, a 41-year-old man with a previous DUI conviction, was found guilty on Monday of second-degree murder after his girlfriend was killed in a DUI crash in Santa Ana.

Murillo was behind the wheel of a pickup truck when he lost contorl and then crashed into a palm tree and a light pole at about 2 a.m. on April 21, 2024, near 800 S. Main St., according to the OCDA prosecutors.

Murillo’s girlfriend, 27-year-old Jocelyn Janet Campos of Paramount, was killed in the crash. She had been sitting in the passenger seat of Murillo’s vehicle. She left behind an 8-year-old daughter…
