An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.3 rattled off the coast of Orange County on Sunday afternoon, officials confirmed.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at 12:36 p.m. The epicenter was about 2.8 miles south of San Clemente, at a depth of roughly 7.9 miles.
There were no initial reports of any damage or injuries.
