A 6-year-old boy was found safe Sunday after going missing from his apartment complex in Huntington Beach, police said.
A multi-agency search was launched for Jackson Hoffman, who had last been seen midnight in his apartment on the third floor of the complex on Edinger Avenue, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Hours later, police said that he was found the complex around 10:30 a.m., adding that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Our response involved an extensive, coordinated effort. The HBPD Major Crimes Unit was immediately called in and responded without hesitation. We are incredibly grateful for the assistance of our partnering agencies, including the Los Angeles Police Department, Westminster Police Department, Fountain Valley Police Department, and Costa Mesa Police Department, as well as our dedicated Huntington Beach Fire Department personnel,” the department said in a Facebook post…
